For outside
TThermally modified wood is a poor conductor of heat, durable, dimensionally stable, and visually distinctive. Compared to untreated wood, thermowood withstands outdoor conditions much better, making it an ideal choice for exterior cladding and façades.
To preserve the appearance and extend the lifespan of the material, we recommend treating the cladding boards with a natural wood oil containing UV protection. Thermowood cladding boards are available in various widths and surface finishes, allowing flexible solutions for different architectural needs.
For inside
Thermally modified wood is suitable for use in buildings with high humidity and fluctuating temperatures, such as summer houses, outdoor kitchens, garden buildings, and garages. It is also an excellent choice as a decorative element when creating a distinctive and thoughtfully designed home.
